Home Invasion:

1800 block of Rochester, 4-20-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered her apartment through a broken rear window and stole jewelry.  12-9828

800 block of N. Blair, 4-20-12:  Complainant reported returning home and hearing someone walking around upstairs.  The complainant exited the residence and called the Royal Oak Police. Officers arrived and discovered the suspect had forced open the door wall, entered the residence and stole jewelry. The suspect fled the home prior to the officer’s arrival.  12-9830

Breaking and Entering:

American Cycle and Fitness, 29428 Woodward Avenue, 4-22-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect broke out the front window with a brick, entered the store and stole a bicycle.   12-10003

4300 block of Mandalay, 4-20-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered her unlocked garage and stole four bicycles.   12-9756

400 block of W. Hudson, 4-20-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered his garage and stole his bicycle.   12-9796

4000 block of Hillside, 4-21-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered his opened garage and stole his bicycle.   12-9934

Unlawful Driving Away of an Automobile:

1900 block of N. Washington, 4-23-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect attempted to pry open the door of his 2009 Mercury Milan in an attempt to steal it.       12-10118

 

29300 Woodward Avenue, 4-26-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole his blue 1994 Honda.  12-10382

 

Larceny:

 

Verizon Wireless, 34941Woodward Avenue, 4-18-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole a Samsung Galaxy Nexus cellular phone.  12-9669

Bright Ideas, 220 N. Main, 4-22-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole the “Animal Rescue” donation jar from the store counter.   12-10053

3500 block of Hillside, 4-23-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole his white Trek 7200 mountain bike from his detached garage.  12-10154

American Cycle and Fitness, 29428 Woodward Avenue, 4-23-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole his locked white Bianchi mountain bike from the bike rack.  12-10151

 

Larceny from Automobile:

 

2800 block of Woodslee, 4-18-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered his unlocked truck and stole several construction tools.  12-9680

300 block of E. Eleven Mile, 4-21-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect broke her driver’s side door lock, entered the vehicle and stole her laptop.   12-9907

2600 block of Ardmore, 4-21-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered her vehicle and stole her camera and laptop computer.   12-9911

LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward, 4-22-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect broke the driver’s rear window and stole his laptop from the back seat.   12-10070

300 block of E. Parent, 4-24-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect smashed the passenger window on his Chrysler 200 and attempted to steal the in-dash GPS unit.  12-10305

3000 block of W. Thirteen Mile, 4-24-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect pried open the door of his 2005 Dodge Neon and stole his in-dash GPS unit.  12-10272

Trader Joe’s, 27880 Woodward Avenue, 4-24-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect smashed the rear window of his Jeep Cherokee and attempted to steal his in-dash GPS unit.  12-10266

3000 block of W. Thirteen Mile, 4-24-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect smashed the rear window of her Jeep Cherokee and attempted to steal the in-dash GPS unit.  12-10216

LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward Avenue, 4-24-12:  Royal Oak officers were patrolling in the lot and noticed a van with a loaded handgun lying on the front seat.  The officers located the vehicle owner inside the gym and advised him of the dangers of leaving a loaded handgun inside a vehicle in plain view.   12-10210

Other Incidents:

3000 block of W. Thirteen Mile, 4-18-12:  Royal Oak officers responded to a loud party complaint.  The officers’ investigation revealed that two individuals present at the party were intoxicated and underage.  Both were issued Minor in Possession of Alcohol violations and turned over to their parents.  The homeowner was arrested for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.  During the arrest the homeowner was found to be in possession of brass knuckles and was also charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.  12-9714

 

Fourteen Mile and Woodlawn, 4-18-12:  Complainant reported his 11-year-old grandson was walking home when he was approached by a 16-year-old male suspect wearing a blue shirt.  The suspect demanded to see the youths Kindle and attempted to grab it from his hands.  The youth pulled the Kindle to his chest at which time the suspect punched the youth in the face twice.  The suspect fled the scene on foot.  Royal Oak officers arrived on scene and were able to locate the suspect. He was arrested for Strong Arm Robbery.  12-9713

 

Thirteen Mile and Shenandoah, 4-18-12:  Royal Oak officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  The driver was found to be Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics and Driving While License Suspended.  During the course of the investigation, the suspect admitted he was on his way to sell Xanax to a co-worker.  The suspect was also charged with Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Deliver. 12-9689

 

5000 block of Crooks, 4-20-12:  Complainant stated an unknown suspect punctured both tires on the passenger side of his vehicle.   12-9801

 

N. Connecticut and Red Run, 4-22-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect spray painted the stop sign on the corner.   12-10017

 

1900 block of N. Connecticut, 4-22-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect spray painted his For Sale sign.   12-10039

 

2000 block of N. Connecticut, 4-22-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect spray painted a decorative rock in his front lawn.   12-10040

 

5000 block of Crooks, 4-23-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect super glued his front door lock.  12-10138

 

 The Woodward Warehouse, 4260 Edgeland, 4-23-12:  Complainant reported an unknown suspect spray painted the cinder block walls surrounding the dumpster along with the wall on the east side of the building.  12-10109

 

200 block of Royal, 4-25-12:  Royal Oak officers responded to a argument between two roommates and arrested one subject for Felonious Assault after determining he pulled a knife on the victim and threatened to kill him.  12-10359
