Home Invasion
3023 W. Thirteen Mile, 2-16-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect kicked in his front door and stole several DVDs from his bedroom. 12-3126
Larceny
600 block of S. Pleasant, 2-17-12: Complainant caught his roommate stealing checks from his personal safe. Complainant had made an earlier report in which someone had fraudulently cashed some of his checks. Suspect was arrested for Larceny and found to have drug paraphernalia and narcotics in her possession. 12-3187
1000 block of Irving, 2-20-12: Complainant reported a suspect stole checks from his bedroom. 12-3404
Unlawful Driving Away of an Automobile
1000 block of N. Campbell, 2-16-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole her 2000 silver Dodge Intrepid. 12-3139
Royal Auto Sales, 829 N. Main, 2-16-12: Complainant reported a suspect took a beige 2001 Lincoln for a test drive and failed to return the vehicle. 12-3128
Assault and Battery
4700 block of Rosewald, 2-16-12: Complainant reported her boyfriend assaulted her after he confronted her about stealing his marijuana. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. 12-3142
Larceny from Automobile
700 block of N. Vermont, 2-18-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS unit, IPod, briefcase and change. 12-3251
Royal Oak Ice Arena, 1405 Lexington, 2-18-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her cell phone, wallet, currency, and some clothing. 12-3291
LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward Avenue, 2-20-12: Complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke the passenger window and stole her purse which contained cash and credit cards. 12-3418
LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward Avenue, 2-20-12: Complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke the driver’s window and stole her purse which contained credit cards. 12-3410
LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward Avenue, 2-20-12: Complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke the passenger window and stole a purse which contained a cell phone, credit cards and passport. 12-3414
LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward, 2-20-12: Complainant reported that an unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a laptop and cell phone. 12-3471
LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward, 2-22-12: Complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke the passenger window and stole her purse which contained credit cards. 12-3560
Other Incidents:
Leo’s Coney Island, 110 S. Main, 2-17-12: Complainant reported a suspect failed to pay his bill and fled on foot. Officers located the suspect leaving the area in a vehicle. The suspect paid his bill and was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. 12-3166
Thirteen Mile and Hillside, 2-18-12: Royal Oak officer investigated two subjects acting suspicious. One of the subjects was found in possession of heroin and arrested. 12-3279
I-75 and Eleven Mile, 2-18-12: Royal Oak officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated. Royal Oak officers deployed a tire deflation device to flatten the suspect vehicles tires. The driver was arrested for Flee and Elude, Resisting Arrest and Misdemeanor Warrants.

Guthrie and Helene, 2-23-12: Royal Oak officers responded to a traffic crash in which the suspect hit several small trees, garbage cans and a street sign. The officers located the suspect vehicle unoccupied on the front lawn of a house. Officers located the suspect a few blocks away and arrested him for Operating While Intoxicated and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. 12-3567
