Robbery
TCF Bank, 1800 Crooks, 3-13-12: Royal Oak officers responded to a bank robbery. Officer’s investigation revealed a white male, approximately 6’4”, wearing a “Halloween” mask, entered the bank and gave the teller a note instructing her to give him all the money in her drawer. The suspect fled the scene, possibly in an older, four door, maroon Chevy Blazer, with an undisclosed amount of currency. 12-5610
Home Invasion:
3200 block of Greenfield, 3-9-12: Complainant reported a suspect opened her front door and then fled when he saw the complainant inside. Royal Oak officers responded and found the juvenile suspect riding a moped. The juvenile suspect was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. It was further determined the moped was stolen. The suspect charged with Home Invasion, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Stolen Property. 12-4919
400 block of Cambridge, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect forced entry into her home through a second story window and stole her television. 12-5341
1000 block of W. Eleven Mile, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered her unlocked home and stole a laptop computer and jewelry. 12-5368
1100 block of Genesee, 3-13-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect broke his rear door window and entered his home. The suspect stole a television, stereo system and other miscellaneous items. 12-5583
Unlawful Driving Away of an Automobile:
Emagine Theatre, 200 N. Main, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole her maroon 2002 Chrysler Sebring while it was parked in the parking lot. 12-5409
Larceny:
Royal Oak Library, 222 E. Eleven Mile, 3-8-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole her purse. 12-4820
27000 block of Woodward Avenue, 3-9-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect forced open the driver’s window to his vehicle and stole a sub-woofer and amplifier. 12-4973
William Beaumont Hospital, 3601 W. Thirteen Mile, 3-9-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole her purse and wallet. 12-4987
Royal Oak High School, 1500 Lexington, 3-9-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole her bicycle from the bike rack. 12-5010
600 block of S. Washington, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect cut his lock and stole his bicycle. 12-5351
1500 block of W. Houstonia, 3-12-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle and stole an undisclosed amount of currency. 12-5473
Royal Oak Library, 222 E. Eleven Mile, 3-12-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole his bicycle while it was parked in front of the library. 12-5504
LA Fitness, 25352 Woodward Avenue, 3-14-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect stole his backpack, wallet and clothes from an unlocked locker. 12-5735
Other Incidents:
Fourth Street and Lafayette, 3-8-12: Complainant reported another driver approached her car while she was stopped at a red light and hit her door with his knee causing a dent. The other driver was mad because complainant was driving too slowly. 12-4829
Lincoln and Woodward Avenue, 3-8-12: Royal Oak officers located a located a vehicle suspected of a larceny in Berkley. Berkley Police arrived and took custody of the suspect. 12-4830
Walgreens, 30852 Woodward Avenue, 3-8-12: Royal Oak officers responded on the report of three subjects in the drive-thru of the pharmacy trying to pass a fraudulent prescription. Officer’s investigation led to the two passengers being arrested for Prescription Fraud and the driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. 12-4884
Thirteen Mile and Crooks, 3-8-12: Complainant reported her vehicle was stolen in Franklin Township. The suspect had contacted her and asked her to bring $200 to the corner of Thirteen Mile and Crooks to get her vehicle back. Royal Oak officers located the suspect in the stolen vehicle and arrested him. He was charge with Possession of Stolen Property. 12-4902
1500 block of W. Houstonia, 3-10-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect broke the side windows of his vehicles. Nothing was stolen. 12-5175
Emagine Theatre, 300 N. Main Street, 3-10-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect maliciously scratched the door and hood of her vehicle while it was parked in the structure. 12-5205
1200 Block of W. Farnum, 3-10-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect pried open her storage unit in the basement of her apartment. Nothing was missing. 12-5232
2400 block of Galpin, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect broke the driver’s window of his vehicle. 12-5318
400 block of Ninth Street, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect maliciously scratched the driver’s side of her vehicle. 12-5342
600 block of S. Minerva, 3-11-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect scratched his vehicle. 12-5355
Corey Law Firm, 401 S. Main, 3-12-13: Complainant reported an unknown suspect damage the bench in front of the business. 12-5478
Haberman Fabric, 905 S. Main, 3-12-12: Complainant reported an unknown suspect shot his window with a BB gun pellet. 12-5550
