The Royal Oak Historical Society is hosting a Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast. Breakfast will be served at the Royal Oak Farmers Market from 7am to 12 noon. All you can eat for $6 a person. Grace Centers of Hope will host the 8th Annual ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’ Walk-a-Thon at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Proceeds from the event will support the Homeless Children’s Programs and Childcare Center at Grace Centers of Hope, one of the largest homeless shelters in southeast Michigan.
