Local Author Visit

On Wed, Jun 29 from 07:00 p.m. - 08:30 p.m. in the Royal Oak Public Library Friends Auditorium there will be a presentation of the book titled, "A Footpath in Umbria: Learning, Loving and Laughing in Italy". The Grosse Pointe author Nancy Yuktonis Solak’s book details the joys and challenges she and her husband experienced while living in Umbria for a year. A self-professed reluctant traveler, Nancy found the trip transformative for the couple as it challenged their habits, their upbringing and their outlook on life.
