Helen Keller Elementary Pond Garden Opening

The Royal Oak community is invited to take a relaxing stroll through the newly finished pond garden at Helen Keller Elementary, 1505 N. Campbell Road, Royal Oak. The garden features a beautiful walkway made from engraved pavers commemorating friends and family of the former Whittier Elementary School neighborhood.

The newly finished pond garden also features an abundance of plant life as well as a home for goldfish and turtles. Hundreds of volunteer hours provided by parents, students and staff have produced a work of art that will be enjoyed for many years to come. Come see and enjoy between 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2010. Refreshments will be served.
