The Treasurer's Office is responsible for collecting and reporting all revenues received by the city. These include revenues directly collected by the Treasurer's Office and revenues collected by other areas and reported to the Treasurer's Office. Revenue transactions conducted at the Treasurer's Office include:
- Payment for current year tax and water bills
- Payment for code enforcement/inspection transaction
- Payment for parking passes (hang-tags) and long term meters (including Amtrak parking). Parking structure permits are handled by AMPCO.
- Payment for sidewalk invoices, accounts receivable invoices and special assessments

24 Hour Tax Hotline - Property tax information is now available FREE on the Oakland County 24 Hour Tax Hotline by dialing 248-858-0025 or toll free number 1-888-600-3773. To access tax information you will need to enter your 10-digit parcel ID number (beginning with either 20 or 25).
Property Tax information is available on-line through the "Access Oakland" program and there is a small fee associated with your inquiry: Access Oakland Property Records, select "Available Product data".

County General: October 1 through September 30
State Education Tax: October 1 through September 30
