The City of Royal Oak offers two beautiful community centers where mature adults aged 50 and better can enjoy opportunities for lifelong education, fitness, nutrition and leisure activities. Supportive services that promote independence and quality of life are available for residents who are 60 and over or permanently disabled.
- Everything Only $8.00 Fundraiser – Please join us on Wednesday, April 17 from 9 am to 4pm at the Manhany Meininger Senior Community Center. Don’t miss out on this fabulous opportunity to shop for scarves, watches, reading glasses, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and much much more! Everything is only $8.00. This would be a great opportunity to purchase a beautiful item or two for you or someone else.
- Sign of the Beef Carver Fundraiser – Please join us on Tuesday, May 14 from 4 to 7 pm at the Sign of the Beef Carver located at 27400 Woodward Ave. in Royal Oak. The Royal Oak Sign of the Beef Carver will be donating 15% of all food purchases to the Senior Community Center. Flyers are available at the Mahany/Meininger Senior Community Center.

ROOTS Foundation Member: The Senior/Community Centers are members of the Royal Oak Opportunity To Serve Foundation (ROOTS), established by the city to accept donations and endowments for the improvement of civic institutions.
