Mammals of Tenhave nature walk is being held at Tenhave Woods on Sunday, December 2, 2012 beginning at 2:00 pm. Park at the Lexington/Marais lot and meet at the Lexington entrance. Come and learn about the mammals that live in Tenhave Woods. We will look for signs of these mammals and have skulls and skins with us to help describe them and how they live. Celebrate America Recycles Day by taking a free tour during the week of November 12 – 17, 2012. SOCRRA is celebrating America Recycles Day with a weeklong celebration by offering free tours of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Tours last about 30 minutes and consist of recycling displays in the Education Center and a walk through the MRF to see how recyclables are sorted and baled.
