The Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 27th, beginning at 9:00 am. The parade route starts at South Main Street and Harrison, heading North to 2nd Street, then East to the Veteran's Memorial Plaza where the Annual Memorial Service will be held. Read more »

“Insects in Your Backyard” is being held on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 beginning 7:30 pm at the Royal Oak Middle School (709 N Washington between 11 Mile Rd & Catalpa). Join Joyce and Don Drife, Royal Oak Nature Society botanists, as they explore a suburban backyard looking for insects and spiders. You might be amazed at the variety of creatures you can discover. This is a free event and is open to the public.
