“Late Fall Nature Walk” is being held at Tenhave Woods on December 5th, 2010 (Sunday) at 2:00 pm. Park at the Lexington/Marais lot & meet at the Lexington entrance. Come and learn about the mammals that live in Tenhave Woods. We will look for signs of these mammals in the park. The Royal Oak Nature Society is hosting a speaker program at the Royal Oak Middle School (709 N Washington- Between 11 Mile Rd & Catalpa). “Life at a Fox Den” is being held on November 3rd, 2010 beginning at 7:30 pm. Suburban areas are prime real estate for red fox. Here a pair of foxes can find plenty of rabbits, mice and squirrels to feed a hungry litter of pups.
