Be the change you want to see in the world. Help erase the stigma and raise money for brain research at the U-M Depression Center and local suicide prevention programs. Beaumont Children’s Hospital Fundraiser

On May 7, 8, 12, Beaumont is sponsoring a drop-off site for electronic waste that will be recycled through Statewide Recycling and Recovery. A semi-truck and several cars will be parked in the Northwood parking lot during a 12-hour span for the community to drop off their donation. This is a fund raiser for Beaumont Children’s Hospital, affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network. 65% of all proceeds will benefit the Center for Speech and Language Disorders.

Charity Hockey Game

The annual Royal Oak Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey Game. The Police and Fire departments face-off on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the John Lindell Arena (1403 Lexington Blvd, Royal Oak MI ). Proceeds from this year's event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.Tickets are $10 each and are available at the police station or any of the three fire stations or at the ice rink on the day of the event.
