A Night to Emagine

On Saturday, May 14th, The Judson Center will partner with Gleaners Community Food Bank for "A Night to Emagine" a celebration to benefit these two non-profit organizations. The red carpet evening begins at 7 p.m. with cocktails, freshly prepared food, bowling, interactive experiences, plus much more. Variety, The Children's Charity

Symphony Orchestra Concert

Police Honor Guard Fundraiser

The Royal Oak Farmers Market will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser for the Police Honor Guard on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 5-8pm. All you can eat! $10 donation for Adults, $5 for Senior Citizens & Kids 5-12, and kids under 5 eat free! For additional information contact Sgt. Carter at 248-246-3500. Blessings In A Backpack

On Tuesday April 19, from 5pm to 8pm, an all you can eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held at the R.O. Elks Club, 2401 E. Fourth St. at Stephenson, for the Royal Oak Schools project "Blessings in a backpack".  All the proceeds will be given to the project.  Donations are welcome.  $100.00 will take care of one child for the whole school year.

Easter Egg Hunt 2011

Join the hunt…for Easter Eggs that is! Grant Park will be the site for this years Community Easter Egg Hunt from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. There will be two hunts, one for ages 0-5 and one for 6-10 year olds. Along with the egg hunts, kids can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, enter the Easter Egg Relay Race, create their own holiday crafts or enjoy the book reading area. Pond Life

"Pond Life" is being held on Sunday, May 19th, 2013, beginning at 2:00 pm in Tenhave Woods; (park at Lexington/Marais lot & meet at Lexington entrance).  We will be sampling the vernal pond for what is living in it. We will have viewing trays to examine what we find.  For those interested small aquarium nets will be available for you to catch your own pondlife and have us identify.  Come and learn about the interesting aquatic wildlife of Dragonfly Pond.Read more »
