Open registration for new Day Camp participants begins Tuesday, March 27, 2012. The Royal Oak Day Camp will be held at Royal Oak High School, 1500 Lexington Blvd (corner of Crooks) for nine weeks in June, July, and August. On March 18th, 2012 the Royal Oak Arts Council will present the Baroque Festival Concert. Baroque music is a style of European classical music which was prevalent from the year 1600 to 1750 and is associated with composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Handel and others. The Baroque Festival Concert will feature performances of Baroque era music by area musicians. The concert takes place at the 1st United Methodist Church in Royal Oak and starts at 4:00 pm.
