Teen Mental Health and Substance Abuse Issues: What We Can Do to Support Our Kids
Royal Oak Public Library in collaboration with the Royal Oak Community Coalition will host a free three-part series on coping with teen mental health issues and substance abuse on select Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm beginning April 25th in the Friends Auditorium. Sessions include Mental Health and our Children, Science of Brain Addiction, Marijuana and Designer Drugs.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications.
