The 32nd Annual Ice Show

The Ice Show will perform at the John Lindell Ice Arena on May 5, 6, and 7. The show starts at 7pm each night, with an additional show on Saturday at 1pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and $9 at the door. John Lindell is located at 1403 Lexington Boulevard, Royal Oak MI 48073 (2 Blocks north of 13 Mile Road, 1 block East of Crooks)

Basic Skills Program

**Private lessons are available for all ages during class time.
          Skaters must be enrolled in a class to sign up.**

Skills Classification and Cost (includes 50 min Ice Time (25 min lesson & 25 min practice)
  Basic Skills (Tots - Adults) $85.00
  Hockey Skills (5 - 12 yrs) $90.00
  Private Lessons (15-min/week) $75.00

Non-Royal Oak Residents will be charged a one time per year $5.00 registration fee.

Session#1 - Basic Skills 
Runs from September 13 - November 6, 2010

Session #2 - Basic Skills
Runs from November 8, 2010 - January 15, 2011

    Sat. October 30, 2010 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
    Sun. October 31, 2010 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Registration will be held in the John Lindell Ice Arena Lobby

What is offered beyond Basic Skills?
Join the new program Basics and Beyond, and your child will receive one-on-one instruction to further their skating skills. Skaters will receive eight 20-minute private lessons by professional staff members of New Edge Figure Skating Club. This is for skaters at the Basic 6 level or above. Fee: $95.

Family Discount/Two Class Discount
1st family member (or class) is full price; 2nd and each additional family member (or class) receives $5.00 off (immediate family only).

Late registrations will be accepted.

Sessions are limited to the first 24 skaters signed in and paid.  Skaters must have passed the Basic 8 level and be a current member of USFS.  Figure skating only.  Available for private lessons.

Drop-In Hockey

Beginning at 9:00am on the scheduled days you may call in and reserve a spot.  We will take the first 22 callers along with 2 goalies for each session.  However, in order to retain your spot, you must sign in and pay at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Otherwise we reserve the right to sell your spot to the next skater waiting.

Cost for first three tryouts: $30, due Monday, Nov 2.
First cuts made after Wednesday’s tryout.

Cost for final two tryouts: $10 per day
Thursday, Nov 5 @ 6:30-7:20 a.m.
Friday, Nov 6 @ 6:30-7:20 a.m.

Important: You MUST have a physical form and signed paperwork on file in the ROHS Athletic office BEFORE you can skate.

Varsity hockey at ROHS is a pay-to-play sport. The program receives no funding from the school district. We hold various fundraising events throughout the year to help make the cost manageable for families. Visit our Web site, royaloakravens.com, for more information.

Senior Hockey League

The 2009-10 John Lindell Arena Senior Hockey League plays on Sunday evenings from September - April. Best deal around - $95 per game ice fees. Spots are available.
