Rabies Clinic

The Royal Oak Animal Shelter will be hosting the Annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic at the Department of Public Services, 1600 N. Campbell, southeast corner of Twelve Mile and Campbell Roads on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bring in your dog or cat for a rabies vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian for $5. If the age of the dog is 6 months to one-year, first shot is for one-year only. The paperwork from a
certificate of rabies vaccination is necessary to receive more than a one-year shot.

Dog licenses will be available with no delinquent penalty fee. City dog license fees are as follows:

1 Year - $7/neutered or $10

2 Year - $12/neutered or $18

3 Year - $18/neutered or $27

The $10 delinquent penalty is waived during the clinic!

remember to leash your pet!

All animals must be leashed or brought in a carrier.

Take advantage of using this clinic to license your dog. Bring in the certificate of rabies vaccination from your vet to obtain a city license. License will expire when the vaccination expires!

The Royal Oak Animal Shelter finds homes for approximately 250 animals per year.  Our goals include providing a safe haven for lost animals or animals given up by their owners, reuniting lost animals with their human companions, and providing for adoptions of available animals.
